Weekly report of teaching practice- 5 (01/ 08/2022 - 05/08/2022)

 The week was well spent. Many activities have been conducted in this week. Literary devices in the poem Song Of A Dream were taught and activities were given. This helps the children to identify  and differentiate the literary devices easily. Awareness program on the topic Drug Abuse was conducted in the school. Prizes for the writing competitions of subject related activity was distributed in the class.  This week I continued  with the poem SONG OF DREAM written by Sarojini Naidu . I used flash cards, activity cards, ICT to show videos and pictures, charts and blackboard as my teaching aids. With the help of teaching aids class was taken effectively  and also it helped to keep students interesting. We were suggested to keep classes engaged if there is no teacher. I took part in many school activities like noon meal, maintenance of discipline etc. I also took part in the meeting of maths club which was quite interesting. I conducted poster making competition  as part of my  subject related activity. The classes were well disciplined and the lessons were well organized.

Subject Related Activity - Word puzzle

I conducted Word puzzle game as part of subject related activity.  Students were given the above puzzle cards and asked them to solve it. The first three students to solve it are winners. Students were super excited  and all of them participated in the competition.  All them tried their best to solve puzzle. Winners were announced and congratulated in the class. The main aim of conducting the competition is to improve the creativity, thinking and vocabulary skills of students. And it also helps to improve their mental abilities.

Weekly report of teaching practice -8 (22/08/2022 - 23/08/2022)

This week marked the end of our teaching practice. I taught the new poem ' Song Of the rain'. I used charts, ICT, flash cards, activity cards, black board as my teaching aids. Appreciation of the poem was given to the students.  We arranged a tea party for our teachers in school as gratitude for their selfless service and guidance. We thank them. And with a get together we happily marked the end of our teaching practice.
