The experience of my first week of teaching  practice in St Joseph HSS was amazing.  My mentor is Nidheesh sir. He gave me the charge of 9 F. First day I introduced myself in the class and asked the students to introduce them. Small language games were conducted in the classroom inorder to assess the language abilities of the students. Students were all robust and enthusiastic and also take part in the games very actively. The second day onwards I  started teaching with the lesson BANG THE DRUM  from the second unit. Students  listened carefully and was manageable. Story writing competition were conducted as the subject related activity.

It is the ability to evolve new approaches, forms and new materials. Subject Related Activity - Word puzzle

I conducted Word puzzle game as part of subject related activity.  Students were given the above puzzle cards and asked them to solve it. The first three students to solve it are winners. Students were super excited  and all of them participated in the competition.  All them tried their best to solve puzzle. Winners were announced and congratulated in the class. The main aim of conducting the competition is to improve the creativity, thinking and vocabulary skills of students. And it also helps to improve their mental abilities.

Weekly report of teaching practice -8 (22/08/2022 - 23/08/2022)

This week marked the end of our teaching practice. I taught the new poem ' Song Of the rain'. I used charts, ICT, flash cards, activity cards, black board as my teaching aids. Appreciation of the poem was given to the students.  We arranged a tea party for our teachers in school as gratitude for their selfless service and guidance. We thank them. And with a get together we happily marked the end of our teaching practice.
