Bi weekly report of school teaching practice 2

 The next week of the teaching practice started with a conscientization programme to give awareness to the students on the topic 

"Awareness against food wastage" was a one day programme.

 After one week of offline classes spread of covid shattered the capital city.
Govt announced an emergency holiday for students in the 8th standard for that week.
Thus we had to take online classes for 8th standard.
 
The online classes were for about 2 weeks. It was noted that most students were not able to attend the class due to the classes of their brother/sister and connectivity problems.After the completion of a portion, I conducted a test paper on the topic of parallel lines in online mode.
 
Also after evaluating the paper. I was able to understand that some students were not clear about some concepts. So I conducted a diagnostic test.
 
 
After that, a Remedial class was taken to solve the problems faced by students in understanding the concept 
An innovative class was also taken to students of class 8 which is mentioned in another article on this blog
Thus our teaching practice of the 3rd semester was completed with lots of memorable events
To make this more memorable we organised a farewell party with onasadhya in a famous restaurant.

Subject Related Activity - Word puzzle

I conducted Word puzzle game as part of subject related activity.  Students were given the above puzzle cards and asked them to solve it. The first three students to solve it are winners. Students were super excited  and all of them participated in the competition.  All them tried their best to solve puzzle. Winners were announced and congratulated in the class. The main aim of conducting the competition is to improve the creativity, thinking and vocabulary skills of students. And it also helps to improve their mental abilities.

Weekly report of teaching practice -8 (22/08/2022 - 23/08/2022)

This week marked the end of our teaching practice. I taught the new poem ' Song Of the rain'. I used charts, ICT, flash cards, activity cards, black board as my teaching aids. Appreciation of the poem was given to the students.  We arranged a tea party for our teachers in school as gratitude for their selfless service and guidance. We thank them. And with a get together we happily marked the end of our teaching practice.
