ART'S DAY CELEBRATION @St Joseph HSS

Art's day inauguration was held on 22nd July  2022. The chief  guest was the film star Akhil Menon. Cultural program were conducted. Items in cultural program were mime, dance, western song, eastern song and  play. The chief guest performed mimicry and also create a recreation section by give tongue twisters to students. I took initiative for dance item. It turned into a huge success. I got opportunity to do make over for Bharathamma in my dance team. It was a  awesome experience. Students were thrilled and happily enjoyed the program.

It is the ability to evolve new approaches, forms and new materials. Teaching in innovative ways keep students engaged and excited.  A change from routine classes would increase student's interest and make them more Creative, interactive and attentive. Subject Related Activity - Word puzzle

I conducted Word puzzle game as part of subject related activity.  Students were given the above puzzle cards and asked them to solve it. The first three students to solve it are winners. Students were super excited  and all of them participated in the competition.  All them tried their best to solve puzzle. Winners were announced and congratulated in the class. The main aim of conducting the competition is to improve the creativity, thinking and vocabulary skills of students. And it also helps to improve their mental abilities.

Weekly report of teaching practice -8 (22/08/2022 - 23/08/2022)

This week marked the end of our teaching practice. I taught the new poem ' Song Of the rain'. I used charts, ICT, flash cards, activity cards, black board as my teaching aids. Appreciation of the poem was given to the students.  We arranged a tea party for our teachers in school as gratitude for their selfless service and guidance. We thank them. And with a get together we happily marked the end of our teaching practice.
